Keith Burgoyne is currently studying creative writing at the University of Prince Edward Island. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in computer science and works as a programmer and systems administrator at silverorange, a web development company in Charlottetown. Despite his technical background, he writes continuously and is in the process of composing his first novel, something he hopes to finish sometime before the end of this century.
Always passionate about writing, Keith attends readings regularly and is thrilled to have the opportunity to volunteer with the Prince Edward Island Writers’ Guild.
His top favourite novels include Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Joseph Heller’s Catch-22, and Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
He lives in Charlottetown and shares a home with his fire-dancing girlfriend, a dog, three cats, too many fish, a snail, and a crab whose capacity for escape is unparalleled by any magician anywhere.
