UPDATE (JUNE 4, 2021): THIS EVENT WILL NOW BE OFFERED AT NO CHARGE.

Welcome to the blogosphere!

Continuing in our Self-Publishing series, On June 6th, the PEI Writers' Guild will present a virtual panel on the art of blogging. This conversation-style event will feature bloggers Justin Shaw, Michelle MacDonald, and Pelumi Ajao. Each will talk about their specific niche in the blogging world and will offer suggestions and tips for what they think it takes to be a successful blogger.

The featured bloggers, who blog from everything from poetry and fashion, to book reviews and growing up on Prince Edward Island , will be covering a few of the following topics: how and why they got started, growing and maintaining a platform, and why blog is a good medium for you

Moderated by Tanya Nicolle MacCallum, the session will then be opened up for a Q&A between panelists and participants.

“Many of our members are blogging,” Guild president Christine Gordon Manley says, “So we're happy to host this panel to explore the topic further, and discover what motivates people to write for an online audience."
