BIO: Caitlyn Paxson is a writer and performer. She reviews books for NPR Books,
Quill & Quire, and other publications. Her poetry has appeared in a variety of places,
including Stone Telling, Mythic Delirium, and Goblin Fruit. She has worked as the artistic
director of storytelling performances,a fiber arts consultant, a legal document and poetry transcriber,
a 19th century jack of all trades, and a shepherdess. She is represented by Britt Siess Creative Management.

JANN TICKNOR: Raised in rural Manitoba and with a family line to Cape Breton (and Scotland), creative writing came naturally to Jann in childhood. Jann brings a skill set highly useful in various settings. She has informally supported many writers in expressing their authentic voices so their messages are fully understood. Often tasked with framing ideas or visions into written language that aligns with funding opportunities, Jann is highly skilled at integrating technical information into plain language products for different audiences.

From news releases to novels to the screen, Katie Mac is a writer with a background in communications and politics. She is co- editor and contributor to the GIFt Horse series: an anthology of short stories from Island genre writers. She is the co- creator of the comedy short film Hot or Not. Her writing / editing services include: Fiction and non-fiction, media releases, speechwriting, social media, & briefing notes.
She is the winner of the Island Literary Awards Maritime Short Story Contest 2020 (2nd place) and her clients include: the government of PEI, and the GIFt Horse Short Story Anthology Series.
