Grant Writing Webinar for Creatives

On January 20th, 2022, the PEI Writers' Guild hosted a grant writing webinar with facilitator Kirstie McCallum. Called "Grant writing for Creatives," McCallum provided a thorough introduction to grant writing. Participants were able to gain insights into how to review grant guidelines (provincial and federal), how to write a project description, how to draft a budget, and what to include in their portfolios and CVs. Kirstie McCallum has over ten years of not-for profit fundraising experience with arts organizations, including The Banff Centre, NSCAD University, Full Circle Art Therapy, and several performance collectives.
