Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty Creative Writing Awards for Young People: Short List Announcement

On May 26th, Island youth will be recognized for their excellence in the literary arts at the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty Creative Writing Awards for Young People. This year’s gala will run from 12:00-1:30 PM at The Rodd Charlottetown (75 Kent Street), and will be hosted by Deirdre Kessler.

Senior High: Madeline Reddick, Keridwen Campbell, Shreya Singh, Lauren MacTavish, Autumn Banks.

Junior High: Claire Dejong, Kennedy Martin, Grace Potter, Ariel Dunn, Lilly O’Reilly.

Late Elementary: Laura MacDougall, Andrew Saver, Madelyn Hume, Mya Belieu, Camryn Carver.

The Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty Creative Writing Awards for Young People recognizes excellence in creative writing by Island students.

Cash prizes are generously donated by members of the Island community.

The awards run as an extension of the Cox & Palmer Island Literary Awards, an event of the PEI Writers’ Guild.
