The PEI Writers’ Guild is excited to announce that the 24th Annual Island Literary Awards Ceremony will take place on October 2nd, 2011 as the culmination of the Pen & Inkling Festival. The Ceremony will take place between 2–4:30 p.m. at The Guild at 115 Richmond Street.
The winners of the 24th annual Island Literary Awards are contacted privately and will not be announced publicly until the Awards Ceremony on October 2nd.
This year’s awards were supported by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, and by generous Island sponsors. Also, thanks to the Cultural Capital of Canada Designation for the City of Charlottetown, the Island Literary Awards have been able to accept French submissions in the student categories for the first time.
